Formerly known as Windmill Networking, Maximize Social Business aims to be your social media for business resource by offering you unique insight from global leaders and thinkers as they provide you the best advice as to how to utilize social media for your specific discipline, industry, or social media platform.
Neal’s Windmill Networking blog began as a way to help businesses and professionals better leverage social media. He originally created his “Windmill Networking” brand to be about something bigger than himself, and as his business shifted to helping companies of all sizes strategically leverage the potential that social media had for their business, he accepted regular guest posting from those bloggers he had respect for and thought could add value to his readers. Neal’s first guest contributor was Amy Stephan, who blogged on the topic of social media for nonprofits. 1 1/2 years after that first guest post from Amy, Windmill Networking evolved into a community blog with more than 20 global thinkers providing unique content on a monthly basis on a variety of social media for business topics.
Thus, the next logical step for Neal to take was to grow beyond his brand and allow the community to thrive as its own entity: Maximize Social Business. Similarly, aligning his own personal brand with the spirit of this website, Neal rebranded the remainder of his Windmill Networking site to Maximize Your Social using similar branding elements.
